Using Holiday Money Cards to make a payment

Q. When it says “Order a Card”, are you signing up to a credit card?

A. No. We offer all clients the opportunity to order a prepaid debit card in a variety of currencies. there is no obligation to order a card. We just think you may find it useful. Read more about euro, pound and us dollar cards here.

Q. Can I use this system to make other currency exchanges and transfers?

A. Of course.

Help for Agents and Property Owners

Q. Is this payment system like Paypal, only easier?

A. Yes. There are many similarities. However, the Holiday Money Cards system is much easier to use for your clients. They can pay whenever it suits them, by credit card, debit card or using the online bank transfer order.

With our system, your clients don’t need to know your bank details. We already have them on file.

You don’t need to know their credit / debit card details, as we take the payment on your behalf, convert the currency ( if required) and then send the correct amount to your pre-designated bank account

Q. Can I pay my clients back their holiday property deposits using Holiday Money cards?

A. Yes. As both You, and the client, is registered with us, you can log in and make an online payment direct to the client’s bank account. You can use your own bank card, or our own prepaid debit card to make the payment.

Q. How do you know what my bank details are, so I can receive the payments?

A. When you register, we will contact you and ask for the bank account details where you wish to receive all holiday payments. We put the bank details into our system and all payments received are converted to the currency of that account, and sent there.

Your clients do not need to know your account details. We take care of that for you.

Q. Can I use this system to make other currency exchanges and transfers?

Q. How do you know what the balance is, after the deposit has been paid?

A. When your client makes their first payment, they can opt to pay all of the amount to you, or just part of the total.

The client is required to put the full amount into our form when they go to make their first payment against a new booking number. We log this total amount and every time they make a payment towards the total, we record it and display a balance owing.

You will be emailed each time a payment is made. The client is emailed with a confirmation of the payment and a revised balance.

When the balance is zero, we don’t send any more reminders to the client for this booking.
